Once you are logged in, use the user menu on your left and select Edit User.
At the very bottom of this page will be a field for your password. Enter the same password into both boxes and click "SAVE CHANGES".

In order to officially have an account your e-mail address must be verified. This helps eliminate users from making multiple accounts. This message appears when an account has not been activated. Check your e-mail and follow the instructions in the e-mail from us in order to activate your account.

The user name can only be changed by the administration team. You can submit a request with the name you currently have and the name you would like to use. It is recommended to list several name in case the one you want is taken. If there are too many requests then the administration may not change your user name for you. This is also a task that can only be done manually so at best you would have to wait for the webmaster to check his e-mail and if in the field, he won't check it.

You can't.
Each account holds information such as posts, votes, and other useful information. By deleting an account this information would be lost. Even if the account has never been logged on there is some information stored and would still cause errors on the site.
